Following extensive research into Calisto’s history, values, and brand essence, Social Bite Media developed an updated identity that preserved the brand’s authenticity while introducing a fresh, contemporary look.

A comprehensive brand strategy was crafted, with a focus on a core campaign that contributed to increased sales and the establishment of a sizable customer database. The strategy also led to a measurable rise in foot traffic, creating a livelier in-restaurant experience aligned with the refreshed brand identity and delivering tangible business growth.

Calisto’s is renowned for its diverse menu of authentic Portuguese cuisine, from flame-grilled chicken to premium seafood and meats. Social Bite Media was tasked with redesigning the brand’s outdated menu to better reflect the vibrant, welcoming ambiance of its stores.

In collaboration with the client, we strategically restructured the menu categories to align with patrons’ ordering behaviors, enhancing both the customer experience and operational efficiency. Today, Calisto’s stands as a leading name in Portuguese dining, proudly operating 10 restaurants nationwide.

We introduced an innovative marketing tactic, prompting customers to enhance their dining experience by scanning a QR code. The code directed them to a visually captivating platform showcasing Calisto’s mouth-watering menu through enticing photography. This upselling technique proved highly effective. Patrons not only enjoyed the appetite appealing visuals but also had a chance to enter a competition for an unforgettable trip to Portugal. This added excitement and incentivised their participation.
